Position Overview
Join Healthcare Services Group as a Floor Tech, where your primary responsibility is to uphold the cleanliness and aesthetic condition of floors within a long-term care facility. We value dedication to enhancing the customer and resident experience and contributing positively to the community.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting hourly wage is $12.00. Key Responsibilities
- Execute floor care duties such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing in resident rooms, communal areas, and office spaces.
- Operate floor care equipment responsibly to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Keep detailed records of floor maintenance activities and notify supervisors of any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Engage courteously with residents, staff, and visitors, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in floor care is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exhibit a positive demeanor and communicate effectively with building occupants and management to fulfill daily tasks.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination guidelines.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, bending, and walking for long durations.
- Ability to perform repetitive routines consistently.
- Comfortable working around food and cleaning substances.
- Follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Reside within the service area.
