Housekeeper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) in Crestview, FL. In this essential role, you will help maintain the cleanliness and safety of our long-term care facilities, positively impacting the residents and community. HCSG prioritizes excellence and strives to enhance the experience of customers and residents alike.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning duties including sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, common spaces, and office areas.
• Ensure thorough disinfection and sanitation practices in compliance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and universal precautions to uphold a hygienic environment.
• Interact courteously and professionally with residents, staff members, and visitors to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Prior experience in housekeeping is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administrators, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Physically capable to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, or walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform repetitive routine tasks consistently and safely handle cleaning chemicals.
• Follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Must reside within the service area.
