Role Overview
We invite passionate individuals to join our team as a full-time Laundry Attendant. This key position within the Laundry & Valet Team ensures all linens used throughout the hotel are maintained to exacting standards.
The Laundry Attendant operates equipment such as sorters and dryers, managing proper classification and drying of all laundered linens. Valet responsibilities include operating the folder machine as well as pressing, ironing, and folding linens to prepare them for hotel use. Familiarity with linen types and sizes is critical, as is promptly reporting any damaged or torn linens to management.
Key Qualifications and Attributes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work
- Proficiency with laundry and pressing equipment, including industrial washers and dryers
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions safely
- Knowledge and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork within the Laundry/Valet department
- Preferred experience of 1-2 years in housekeeping or laundry valet, ideally in a fast-paced hotel environment
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are advantageous for career advancement

Starting pay begins at $24.35 per hour, increasing to $27.05 per hour with progression.
Work Schedule and Conditions
Candidates must be flexible and willing to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
