About the Melbourne Studio

Our Melbourne studio, active for over two years, is growing steadily with projects including major public domain works, infrastructure, hospitals, education facilities, and urban living developments. Supported by a well-established national practice, the team offers the stability of a large firm alongside the agility and visibility of a growing landscape division, providing ample opportunity for hands-on involvement, rapid learning, impactful contributions, and influence over the studio's evolving vision.

Role Overview

We seek a passionate and inquisitive Landscape Architect eager to deliver outstanding design work and develop professionally within a supportive, highly experienced team. You will assist with project delivery across diverse sectors such as public domain, open space, master planning, education, health, and urban precincts, supporting the entire process from concept to detailed documentation. Your role will blend technical and creative contributions, while deepening your knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support landscape projects at all phases, from pre-design and concept through detailed construction documentation.
• Build expertise in landscape architecture across public domain, open space, master planning, and urban precinct projects.
• Produce high-quality documentation, reports, presentations, and communication materials with strong visual and written clarity.
• Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary internal teams and with external consultants to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Positively contribute to the landscape team's culture and participate in shaping its direction.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, curious, and collaborative Landscape Architect demonstrating increasing design skills, emerging technical competence, and a proactive team approach.

Qualifications and Experience

• A tertiary degree in Landscape Architecture with a minimum of two years' relevant project experience spanning multiple project stages.
• Strong design aptitude combined with technical knowledge of materials, construction methods, and compliance with Australian codes and standards.
• Ability to develop precise and polished documentation and deliverables.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, organizational capabilities, and a proactive mindset in task and stakeholder management.
• A collaborative attitude, experienced in team environments and in fostering positive relationships.
• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Rhino is an advantage.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and contributing positively to team culture.
