Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner - UK

About the Role

Join WSP's UK Landscape & Urban Design team as a Landscape Architect or Landscape Planner, contributing to diverse projects across all RIBA stages, often within a BIM level 2 environment. Be part of a motivated, creative team that values integrity, professionalism, and collaboration both within the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on landscape design projects, including urban realm and mixed-use developments, covering all LI/RIBA stages.
• Conduct Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments as a lead specialist.
• Manage, delegate, and oversee project work, guiding junior team members.
• Engage directly with clients, providing design advice and leading workshops and stakeholder events.
• Support client relationship development in both public and private sectors.
• Assist in preparing bids for projects ranging from small scale to complex multidisciplinary work.
• Participate in cross-disciplinary internal groups to foster innovation and excellence.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture.
• Postgraduate diploma or master’s qualification related to Landscape Architecture.
• Proven experience authoring Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Track record in delivering landscape and urban design projects, handling all phases from site analysis to detailed planning and construction information production.
• Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley software and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
