Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor specializing in site operations for their UAE projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute diverse land surveys including boundaries, topographical mapping, and construction location markings.
• Deliver accurate measurements and data analyses to conform with project criteria.
• Carry out setting out procedures and demarcation of control points and site boundaries according to design plans.
• Ensure survey instruments are properly calibrated, maintained, and adjusted for precision.
• Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and team members to support smooth site processes and accurate survey documentation.
• Compile precise and clear survey reports featuring calculations and layout schematics for management and project team approval.
• Adhere strictly to industry standards, local regulations, and company quality policies throughout survey activities.
• Identify and address discrepancies in survey data or site conditions, collaborating with senior staff to implement solutions.
• Comply with all health and safety protocols on-site in accordance with AtkinsRéalis and local legal requirements.
• Maintain effective communication channels among all personnel, clients, and project stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a bachelor's degree or diploma in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Have at least 8 to 10 years of proven experience in land surveying, with specific exposure to cycle track projects within the UAE.
• Proficient in modern surveying technologies, including Total Stations, GPS devices, and 3D scanning tools.
• Acquainted with the UAE's local land survey standards and regulatory framework is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrate strong command of surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and LSS.
• Exhibit excellent knowledge of surveying methodologies, data interpretation, and terrain analysis.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to perform efficiently under fast-paced conditions.
• Display effective problem-solving skills and critical judgment.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in team settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, with Arabic language skills considered a plus.
