Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join HRPL Homes and Infrastructures Private Limited in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The role demands expertise in various cost management and construction measurement tasks to support project delivery efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD for drawing interpretation and site measurements.
• Conduct cost estimation and standard cost control measures throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage material procurement and inventory for effective construction progress.
• Perform detailed billing, valuation, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Undertake rate analysis in alignment with market and project needs.
• Handle contract administration activities ensuring compliance and documentation.
• Assess and measure quantities related to Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC), structural, finishing, and MEP works.
• Interpret building designs and drawings to derive accurate quantity assessments.
• Analyze labor and material rates to optimize budgeting and resource allocation.

Requirements and Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel for handling design and data analysis.
• Deep knowledge of quantity surveying techniques and construction measurement methodologies.
• Competency in BOQ preparation and rate analysis for construction projects.
• Experience with billing, contract administration, and valuation processes.
• Familiarity with construction materials and the various trades involved including RCC, structural, finishing, and MEP systems.
