Lady Shop Manager – Tailoring Shop

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and amiable Lady Shop Manager to oversee the daily activities of our tailoring outlet located in Perumbakkam, Chennai.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily functioning of the tailoring shop.
• Greet customers and comprehend their tailoring and alteration needs.
• Take precise measurements and document customer orders carefully.
• Liaise with tailors to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Monitor ongoing and finished stitching requests.
• Address customer inquiries, ensuring high-quality service.
• Handle billing, process orders, and manage basic cash transactions.
• Keep the shop premises, display areas, and customer records tidy and organized.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of completed garments.
• Maintain strong rapport with regular customers.
• Support marketing efforts to expand customer base and increase repeat business.

Candidate Requirements

• Female candidates are preferred.
• Prior experience in tailoring shops, boutiques, fashion outlets, or garment industries is advantageous.
• Effective communication and customer service abilities are essential.
• Familiarity with ladies' tailoring, taking measurements, and alterations is a plus.
• Must be responsible, punctual, and well-organized.
• Basic skills in computer or mobile device usage preferred.
• Capability to manage coordination with tailors and handle multiple customer orders concurrently.
