Position Overview

Platform Property Care invites an experienced Labourer to join our multi-skilled trades team, delivering outstanding repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment services in Matlock, Chesterfield, and nearby locations. This role demands a reliable, hardworking individual eager to learn and contribute positively within a team.

Key Responsibilities and Attributes

• Collaborate efficiently within a team environment and demonstrate self-motivation when working independently.
• Provide excellent customer service while entering and working in residents' homes, presenting a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills and a commitment to completing tasks correctly on the first attempt.
• Attend to property repairs and maintenance with attention to detail and care for quality.

Experience and Skills

• Background in social housing maintenance with a solid understanding of property upkeep and repairs at a high standard.
• Versatile trade skills including basic knowledge of roofing, paving, pointing, and fencing considered beneficial.
• Robust labouring experience within the construction or building sector.
• Experience working directly in customers' homes, demonstrating professionalism and respect.
• Hold a valid full driving licence since this is a role requiring travel between locations.
• A DBS check is mandatory given the setting within customers’ residences.

Benefits and Additional Information

• Annual salary of £28,072.
• Entitlement to 25 days of paid holiday annually, with an option to purchase an additional 5 days.
