Kitchen Porter (m/w/d) – Spüler | Küche

About the Role

Located at Pamela in Berlin, one of the newest venues of the Big Mamma group, we are looking for a dependable and energetic Kitchen Porter to become an integral part of our kitchen team. This role is vital for maintaining the flow of kitchen operations by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and workspaces are clean, organized, and ready for use when needed. Your contribution will support a smooth and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Thorough washing and cleaning of dishes, kitchen tools, and equipment.
• Maintaining availability of clean tableware and equipment during active service periods.
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas tidy, orderly, and safe at all times.
• Assist the kitchen staff with cleaning and other operational duties as required.
• Properly handle waste disposal while adhering to high hygiene standards.
• Assist with general kitchen organization and manage deliveries when necessary.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during peak service times.
• Work at a sustained fast pace while remaining organized throughout the shift.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or similar setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Good physical endurance and ability to remain active throughout shifts.
• Comfortable executing repetitive tasks efficiently in a high-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and readiness to assist the team.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Positive demeanor and team-focused mindset.

No advanced kitchen experience is required; we prioritize reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong willingness to collaborate.
