Position Overview
As a Kitchen Porter, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef by ensuring efficient kitchen operations. Your responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, monitoring food standards, and managing kitchen utensils and ware supplies. This role demands adherence to HACCP standards in collaboration with the kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
- Follow guidance from department managers to oversee food quality and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure compliance with HACCP hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience is essential.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Capability to perform effectively both independently and within a team environment.
