Join our reputable Catholic day school located near Ascot that caters daily for over 460 students and staff, providing Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Monday to Friday. We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to become a valued member of our friendly team, contributing significantly to maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness, safety, and excellent hygiene standards.

Key Duties

• Perform pot washing and general kitchen cleaning duties to maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Clean and service all kitchen equipment, including heavy catering machinery such as air filters and extraction systems, following specific cleaning instructions.
• Operate industrial dishwashers efficiently and safely.
• Ensure continuous upkeep of cleanliness and safety standards within the kitchen environment.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in kitchen porter or pot wash roles is advantageous but not essential.
• Positive and proactive 'can do' attitude with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience in customer service or food preparation environments preferred.
