Role Overview
The Kitchen Porter is essential for maintaining an orderly, clean environment that enables chefs to produce outstanding dishes. This role suits an energetic individual who thrives in a dynamic kitchen and values impeccable cleanliness as the foundation of excellent food service.
Key Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitise dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils to ensure seamless, high-volume operations.
- Maintain excellent hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, ensuring all stations are spotless.
- Support the kitchen team with simple food preparation tasks and keep all kitchen tools and equipment clean and ready.
- Adhere to safety protocols to help keep the kitchen organised and a safe workplace.
- Provide support across the team during busy periods to maintain smooth restaurant operations.
Candidate Profile
- No prior experience necessary; enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and readiness to engage fully are key.
- A keen interest in kitchen operations and passion for authentic Italian cuisine.
- A dependable team player who remains composed and positive during peak times.
- Commitment to upholding rigorous food safety and cleanliness standards.
