Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable, positive, and honest individual to fill the position of Kitchen Porter at one of our conference venues located in Cookham, SL6 9QH. This role involves working 40 hours per week over 5 days on a rotating schedule, with shifts that may start early mornings or end late evenings.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes and kitchen utensils
- Performing general cleaning tasks within the kitchen area
- Unloading incoming deliveries
- Supporting stocktaking activities
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in a similar kitchen or catering position
- Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive under pressure
- Adherence to strict food hygiene and health and safety standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in all workspaces
- Positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to contribute to a team of eight
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Basic understanding of food handling
- Enjoyment in being part of a team environment
