Role Overview

The Kitchen Assistant plays a vital role supporting the kitchen team by ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard within a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace. You will be hands-on in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and managing deliveries, storage, and stock to keep the kitchen functioning smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing food to support meal delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Help organize deliveries, storage, and inventory stock.
• Collaborate with the Chef and team to ensure smooth kitchen operations at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrate a positive and dependable attitude.
• Exhibit good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Possess a foundational understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not compulsory.
