It offers specialised residential, dementia, nursing, and respite care in a contemporary setting. Role Overview

The Domestic Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining a hygienic, secure, and inviting atmosphere to enhance residents' well-being, dignity, and comfort. This hands-on position involves meticulous attention to cleanliness that directly impacts daily life within the home.

Key Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of residents' bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Support for laundry operations, ensuring residents' personal items are treated with care and correctly returned.
• Adherence to infection control, health and safety, and cleaning protocols to perform duties safely and effectively.
• Collaboration with team members to maintain a well-organized and respectful environment.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrates positivity and reliability in work approach.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Effective communication skills.
• Helpful understanding of hygiene and infection control, though not essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role is valued but not mandatory.

Additional Information

• Hourly pay rate: £12.71
• Contracted for 37.5 hours per week
• Paid PVG scheme participation
• Pension scheme eligibility
• Uniform supplied
• Annual leave entitlement: 5.6 weeks (pro-rated for full-time employment)
