About Raemoir Manor Care Home
Raemoir Manor Care Home is a newly constructed care facility in Banchory, scheduled to open in Summer 2026. It will offer residential, dementia, nursing, and respite care in a modern setting. This presents a unique chance to become part of a new team and influence the care service's development from its inception.
Role Overview
As Head Housekeeper, you will oversee the cleanliness, presentation, and organisation of the entire home, supporting a safe and welcoming environment at all times. This leadership role involves maintaining high standards that directly affect residents' daily experiences and satisfaction.
You will manage the housekeeping team to ensure thorough cleaning of residents’ rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas with strict adherence to hygiene, infection control, and health and safety procedures. Collaborating closely with other departments, you will coordinate daily operations, monitor quality standards, handle supply management, and provide team training and guidance to foster a motivated and efficient workforce.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage: 15.50 per hour
- Contracted for 40 hours weekly, including shifts across 7 days
- Paid PVG/DBS checks, pension scheme, and uniform provided
- Annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks on a full-time contract basis
Candidate Profile
- Experience in housekeeping or supervisory roles is essential
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of cleaning standards, hygiene, and infection control
- Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and monitor team performance effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
