Kitchen and Bath Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt and friendly service by actively approaching customers to understand their needs and assist with product selection.
• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of products within the kitchen and bath department as well as related departments to offer complete project solutions.
• Engage customers following the Home Depot GET model: Greeting, Engaging, and Thanking every customer.
• Promote ancillary services such as Tool Rental, Special Services, Pro Desk, and Pro Services when appropriate.
• Discuss product options from basic to premium levels and cross-sell related products and services outside the immediate department.
• Maintain merchandise appearance by ensuring products are signed, properly displayed, and clean.
• Stay informed about all products in your department and neighboring departments by actively seeking new knowledge.
• Adhere to all safety and loss prevention policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

Work Environment

• Work schedule is flexible and may include evenings and weekends.
• Tasks involve bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving products.
• Employment in a warehouse environment subject to dust, noise, drafts, and temperature fluctuations due to open doors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One to two years of experience in retail or trades field preferred.

• There are no travel requirements for this role.
• Position reports directly to a Department Supervisor.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $18.75 to $19.75 per hour.
