Job Overview
The Key Holder acts as a limited on-duty manager responsible for ensuring the store's physical security under the guidance of the management team. This position also leads a designated category team to optimize store performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the assigned category team to maximize profitability and provide exceptional customer service while strictly following company policies and procedures.
- Serve as a limited Manager On Duty in partnership with store management.
- Maintain the physical security of the store as a key-holding management member.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively.
- Ensure merchandising standards, store cleanliness, and operational efficiency within the category.
- Train and develop associates in the category and facilitate cross-training opportunities for their growth.
- Communicate effectively with all store associates through daily briefings, weekly, and monthly meetings.
- Handle bank deposits and pickup of change orders as required.
- Collect café grocery supplies like milk and baked goods when needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent credential.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role is required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Successful completion of background checks.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with computers and cash register systems.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Capable of using hands and arms repetitively for keyboard and telephone operation.
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to communicate using speech, sight, and hearing, with or without assistive devices.
- Capability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and crouch during daily work activities.
