Key Holder

Job Overview

The Key Holder acts as a limited on-duty manager responsible for ensuring the store's physical security under the guidance of the management team. This position also leads a designated category team to optimize store performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the assigned category team to maximize profitability and provide exceptional customer service while strictly following company policies and procedures.
• Serve as a limited Manager On Duty in partnership with store management.
• Maintain the physical security of the store as a key-holding management member.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively.
• Ensure merchandising standards, store cleanliness, and operational efficiency within the category.
• Train and develop associates in the category and facilitate cross-training opportunities for their growth.
• Communicate effectively with all store associates through daily briefings, weekly, and monthly meetings.
• Handle bank deposits and pickup of change orders as required.
• Collect café grocery supplies like milk and baked goods when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent credential.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Capable of using hands and arms repetitively for keyboard and telephone operation.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate using speech, sight, and hearing, with or without assistive devices.
• Capability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and crouch during daily work activities.
