About MoonAir Home Appliances
MoonAir Home Appliances Private Limited is a manufacturer of air coolers based in Ghaziabad, equipped with proprietary injection moulds, a dedicated assembly facility, and a dealer network distributed across NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.
Role Overview
We invite applications for a Junior Production Manager to oversee daily production activities at our Ghaziabad manufacturing unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and monitor the daily production schedule on the assembly line to achieve set daily targets.
- Supervise line workers and assembly operators, managing manpower allocation, attendance enforcement, and maintaining discipline on the shop floor.
- Liaise with stores to ensure timely supply of moulded components, balance of parts (BOP) items, and packaging materials.
- Conduct both in-process and final quality inspections in accordance with control plans, identifying and addressing defects as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of production, rejections, and downtime, and provide daily production data to management.
- Implement and promote 5S principles, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards within the shop floor environment.
- Assist the Production Manager in initiatives aimed at boosting productivity and minimizing rework on the assembly line.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational background: Diploma, ITI, or Degree in Mechanical, Production, Electrical Engineering, or related technical trade.
- Professional experience: 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing or assembly plant, preferably within appliance production, plastics, moulding, or electrical sectors.
- Practical knowledge of assembly line processes, basic quality assurance practices, and shop floor documentation.
- Proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets for executing daily reporting tasks.
- Strong leadership skills with the capability to manage a team and communicates effectively in Hindi.
Job Details and Terms
- Work Location: MoonAir plant, Ghaziabad, requiring on-site presence.
- Employment Type: Full-time, daytime shift operating six days per week.
- Compensation: Monthly salary ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 22,000, supplemented with Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI) benefits.
