About the Company and Role
An established architecture and interior design firm based in Sydney is actively seeking a Junior Interior Designer or Interior Architect to join their expanding interiors team. The practice specializes in delivering a wide-ranging portfolio encompassing hospitality, residential, and commercial projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with the documentation and delivery of hospitality interior projects.
- Create drawings and comprehensive project packages using Revit software.
- Contribute to design development and assist with selecting materials.
- Coordinate information flow with consultants and suppliers.
- Support the preparation of schedules, specifications, and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with senior designers and project teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design.
- Between one and three years of relevant local industry experience.
- Proficient in Revit for technical drawings.
- Experience in 3D modeling and visualization tools.
- Prior work on hospitality projects is highly advantageous.
- Strong skills in technical detailing, documentation, and presenting visual concepts.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- A cooperative, positive mindset suited to a dynamic studio environment.
- Exposure to pubs, hotels, restaurants, commercial interiors, or multidisciplinary projects is valued.
