Java Software Engineer (Payment, Finance)

Overview

Our client is a technology company operating across various domains, seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer focused on payment and finance systems. This role involves working within a fully functional team to craft practical features that support marketing efforts to onboard new users, engage them effectively, monetize user activity, and foster lasting user relationships. You will engage in product design, engineering, and maintain the robustness of backend services in live production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with team members to design and implement daily development tasks.
• Create and maintain web scraping systems to gather data from various websites.
• Develop Robotic Process Automation (RPA) scripts aimed at enhancing business operation efficiency.
• Assist in troubleshooting production environments and optimize system performance as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in backend software development, specifically with strong Java backend skills.
• Competency in Object-Oriented Programming concepts and familiar with common design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework, SQL databases, Kafka for messaging, and Redis caching systems.
• Experience or familiarity with web scraping and automation through RPA tools is a plus.
• Working knowledge of additional programming languages like Golang, C++, Python, or PHP is valued.
• Proven skills in using Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and optimizing query performance.
• Deep understanding of designing high-performance microservices that can handle substantial traffic loads.
• Experience with Kubernetes including deployment and troubleshooting is required.
• Strong expertise in Linux environment, fault tolerance, and problem-solving.
