Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a proficient Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, and Databricks. The ideal candidate should demonstrate solid Java fundamentals and comprehensive experience throughout the software development lifecycle. Familiarity with AI-based development tools to enhance productivity and code quality is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable enterprise-level applications using Java 17/21.
- Create and manage RESTful APIs and Microservices with Spring Boot.
- Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code following industry best practices.
- Engage in modernization of applications and initiatives aimed at cloud readiness.
- Leverage AI-enabled development applications such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to boost efficiency and maintain code quality.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, software architects, quality assurance teams, and DevOps throughout the software development cycle.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly.
- Participate actively in code reviews and promote continuous improvement efforts.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong grasp of Java fundamentals including Collections Framework, Multithreading, Concurrency, Streams, Lambda expressions, Exception handling, JVM internals, memory management, design patterns, and performance tuning.
- Practical hands-on experience specifically with Java versions 17 and/or 21.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Expertise in Microservices architecture and REST API development.
- Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven system design.
- Knowledge of AI-powered development tools.
- Experience creating workflows on Databricks.
- Working knowledge of AWS Cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Additional Skills and Knowledge
- Basic understanding of Python and PySpark.
- Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL database queries.
- Experience working with version control (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
