Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Java Back End Developer with over six years of industry experience, specializing in the development of mobile applications. The position is based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Candidates will be engaged in designing and implementing back-end solutions using various Java frameworks and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Java-based back-end components emphasizing mobile app integration.
- Implement robust and secure applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security frameworks.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs to support front-end and third-party integrations.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Leverage Kafka for creating event-driven, asynchronous messaging systems.
- Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
- Adopt continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies using relevant tools.
- Apply testing frameworks and follow comprehensive testing methods to ensure quality.
- Integrate AI-powered tools and techniques to optimize back-end performance and functionality.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Java development, particularly for mobile applications.
- Strong command of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Hands-on experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficient with database management including SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Familiar with Kafka messaging and event-driven architectures.
- Experienced in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledgeable in testing strategies and frameworks applicable to back-end services.
- Understanding of mobile app architectural patterns and best practices.
- Ability to implement AI-driven enhancements to back-end systems.
Additional Details
This opportunity involves a walk-in drive scheduled for 19th September 2026. Only shortlisted candidates will receive call letters for the recruitment process. The role is open to any graduate meeting the above criteria. Location of work is onsite at Thiruvananthapuram.
