Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior PostgreSQL Database Administrator based in New Delhi to lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of PostgreSQL database environments. Your responsibility will include the architecture and design of database systems to guarantee scalability, dependability, and superior performance for high-demand applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database architectures ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency for extensive applications.
• Manage daily operations including database backup strategies, performance tuning, security policies, and patch deployments.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex database challenges and aid development teams in query optimization.
• Create and maintain automation scripts to enhance database operation efficiencies.
• Conduct capacity planning for database growth, oversee performance metrics, and handle upgrades and migrations minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, and operations; mentor junior DBAs to uphold best practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
• Between 4 to 7 years of professional experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator.
• Strong expertise with PostgreSQL database management and AWS environments.
