About the Role
Join Pilot Flying J as a Janitorial Maintenance Associate in Whitecourt, Alberta, where you will contribute to creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for a diverse range of guests including professional drivers, commuters, and travelers. This position offers a dynamic work setting with varied daily tasks and the chance to explore and gain experience across different roles within our travel centers and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the store and travel center facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness of showers and restroom areas to high standards.
- Handle washing, loading, and unloading of towels used in showers.
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs within the store as needed.
- Collect and manage all trash around the travel center premises.
- Deliver excellent guest service by maintaining well-kept facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Self-driven and highly motivated individual.
- Effective team player able to collaborate with others.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on feet or walking for most of the day.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Prior experience performing similar janitorial or maintenance duties.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and capability to troubleshoot minor issues.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay starting from $15.55 to $19.65.
