Role Responsibilities

• Execute all specified cleaning and maintenance duties according to checklists and supervisor directions, including removing dirt, dust, and debris using manual tools such as brooms and mops.
• Conduct several daily rounds to collect and dispose of trash and debris throughout the facility.
• Empty trash bins both indoors and outdoors, including office spaces.
• Report burnt-out lighting and malfunctions of equipment promptly.
• Attend to all spill clean-ups without delay.
• Submit maintenance or repair requests as necessary.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all restrooms.
• Manage and keep an inventory of janitorial supplies.
• Maintain daily documentation of janitorial activities performed.
• Operate commercial cleaning machines when applicable.
• Shovel snow and clear designated entrance and exit ramps as assigned by the Facility Manager.
• Notify management immediately about any policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual incidents.
• Deliver excellent customer service by following company guidelines for customer interactions and behavior.
• Assist customers within the facility and address concerns either independently or with managerial support.
• Develop familiarity with all operational aspects and perform additional duties as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear the complete uniform throughout shifts.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior janitorial experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Facility maintenance skills such as electrical, painting, or related trades may be required depending on assignment.
• If driving company vehicles, hold a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, depending on location needs.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills, including the ability to understand and respond to inquiries and complaints.
• Exhibit adaptability, sound judgment, professionalism, and positive customer service attitude.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including prolonged standing and walking, lifting weights of 50 pounds or more, climbing, crouching, twisting, and enduring outdoor weather conditions such as rain, snow, cold, and heat.

Compensation and Benefits
