Job description

Job Purpose

This role focuses on delivering functional and technical assistance for medical applications, including front-office tools and third-party systems. The position covers configuration, support, user training, deployment, and the resolution of application-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a second-line support contact for clinical application users at the entity level, with first-line support provided when needed.
  • Monitor, maintain, and refresh clinical systems and third-party add-ons to keep them operating smoothly for users.
  • Record day-to-day work activity and support tickets in the required manner.
  • Communicate regularly with users, offering technical assistance and status updates on open cases.
  • Investigate product-related issues, drive issue resolution, and keep supporting documentation up to date.
  • Follow user cases and assigned tasks through to completion, ensuring timely closure.
  • Work closely with colleagues to improve internal processes, work methods, and product understanding within Customer Care Services.
  • Build effective partnerships with the solutions delivery team to support projects and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Manage competing priorities so the application environment remains stable and highly available.
  • Ensure outputs are practical from a business perspective, technically correct, and properly integrated with the wider system landscape.
  • Keep accurate records of process flows, design details, and daily operational requirements.
  • Use Application Solution Manager to support troubleshooting, solution evaluation, and everyday operational tasks.
  • Perform other job-related duties within the role’s scope as assigned.

Requirements

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in IT support or application support within a healthcare environment for an IT Specialist.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT support or application support within a healthcare environment for a Senior IT Specialist.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a similar discipline.
  • A master’s degree is considered an added advantage.
  • Strong spoken and written English skills are required.
  • Arabic language skills are preferred.

Additional Information

This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia and is offered as a full-time, onsite role.
