Role Objective

The Operational Excellence Analyst supports the Support Functions Manager by managing IT Solutions tasks within the Operational Excellence Department. This position acts as a liaison between business requirements and technological implementations by collaborating with Operational Excellence stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess comprehensive understanding of IT Solutions rules, procedures, and practices as applied in Operational Excellence, conducting data extraction, verification, and compilation with occasional process adjustments.
• Identify operational requirements related to IT solutions within Operational Excellence, Finance, and HR; assist in strategizing and executing plans under the Support Functions Manager.
• Analyze current workflows, detect inefficiencies, and suggest as well as implement operational improvements potentially utilizing Lean Six Sigma or other process optimization methods.
• Adhere to system requirements set by leadership, evaluate software packages, engage with vendors, and ensure alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
• Participate in Support Functions projects alongside the IT Business Relationship Manager, perform risk assessments, ensure project delivery within timelines, and advise on enhancement of project execution.
• Review and validate functional and technical specifications for Finance and HR applications.
• Manage requirement changes through formal change request processes.
• Configure applications as per functional specifications and verify that solutions are properly documented and reviewed.
• Recommend training programs to enhance team capabilities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost system functionality and operational performance.
• Implement and comply with all relevant IT Solutions department policies to maintain controlled and consistent workflows.
• Assist in preparing accurate and timely departmental reports consistent with company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, information technology, or a related field from an accredited university is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in the mentioned or equivalent fields is preferred.
• Certifications in operations software or methodology, such as Six Sigma, are advantageous.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of five years’ relevant professional experience in a similar role.
