Your Role
Join OCBC as an IT Asset Specialist where you will play a vital part in guaranteeing the smooth functioning of the bank's digital systems and applications, thereby upholding our reputation for reliability and trust.
Core Responsibilities
- Formulate and update policies and procedures relating to IT asset management.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets including hardware and software, from procurement through deployment, upkeep, and eventual retirement or disposal.
- Maintain a precise and current inventory of all IT assets by utilizing asset management software and databases.
- Ensure accurate documentation of configuration items linked to onboarded assets.
- Enforce compliance with bank security policies and relevant regulatory mandates regarding IT asset handling.
- Work collaboratively with asset owners to refine lifecycle management processes and improve inventory data accuracy.
- Conduct periodic governance reviews, audits, and reconciliations to detect and rectify asset discrepancies.
- Analyze asset data to identify inconsistencies, SLA violations, process inefficiencies, usage patterns, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Test newly implemented IT asset management features to ensure functionality.
- Support IT departments by providing timely asset-related information and resources.
- Deliver training and assistance to employees concerning asset management policies and systems.
- Deploy Artificial Intelligence tools effectively to manage and track IT assets, and promote AI integration within the asset management domain.
