Role Overview
The International Tax Manager plays an essential role within Everpure’s Tax department, overseeing foreign tax compliance and transfer pricing to meet global tax objectives both efficiently and in full compliance. The position requires a detail-conscious, technically skilled professional with strong communication abilities and a proven aptitude for thriving in fast-moving environments. Collaboration with international teams is key, reporting to the Senior International Tax Manager based in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage EMEA and wider foreign tax compliance activities for over 30 non-U.S. entity tax returns and estimates.
- Evaluate local statutory financial reports for foreign entities, emphasizing current and deferred tax provisions.
- Support quarterly US GAAP tax reports related to international entities.
- Review inter-company transactions and related agreements.
- Examine transfer pricing documents, country-by-country reports, Pillar II compliance, and other local transfer pricing requirements aligned with the latest OECD guidelines.
- Contribute to annual Tax department budget planning and monthly cost accruals.
- Assist with foreign withholding tax issues including research, preparing tax treaty benefit paperwork, and invoice reviews.
- Prepare and reconcile tax accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Support responses to internal and external tax audits concerning international returns.
- Identify and apply process improvements and automation within international tax operations.
- Engage in tax planning initiatives and research emerging international tax topics.
- Maintain comprehensive audit-ready files and tax workpapers for all open tax years.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams: Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Revenue, and Legal.
Candidate Profile
- Holds CTA and/or ACA qualification with a minimum of 6 years' relevant international tax experience gained at Big 4 firms or multinational tech corporations.
- Practical experience managing monthly, quarterly, and annual foreign tax compliance, with solid grounding in international tax matters.
- Expertise in transfer pricing specific to U.S. multinational technology companies.
- Self-motivated with excellent judgment and prioritization skills in dynamic settings.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with additional experience in NetSuite, SAP, and AI applications considered advantageous.
- Strong project management capabilities, analytical thinking, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and geographic locations.
