Overview
This role is a practical sales and customer service position ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined and eager to learn. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver product support and advice to a varied range of customers across New Zealand industries.
- Handle incoming customer inquiries and orders via telephone, email, and in-person at the branch counter.
- Perform occasional warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and local deliveries as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to establish the branch as the preferred supplier.
- Assist with showroom promotional activities aimed at increasing counter sales.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in internal sales, customer service, or an industrial environment.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and confident, professional phone etiquette.
- Exhibit a strong customer service orientation and the ability to foster positive interactions.
- Possess problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and a proactive mindset to identify customer needs effectively.
- Comfortable engaging with customers and stakeholders in construction, industrial, or blue-collar sectors.
