Intermediate Estimator

Role Overview

A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor seeks an Intermediate Estimator to join their estimating division at the North Dublin office. The incumbent will primarily focus on compiling and analyzing construction cost estimates to support tender submissions across various projects, contributing to the company's expanding project pipeline and growing estimating team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates and pricing proposals for tenders spanning diverse construction projects.
• Interpret tender documentation, architectural drawings, and specifications to pinpoint project scope and cost determinants.
• Obtain and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive and precise tender returns.
• Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the tendering stage.
• Facilitate the smooth transition of completed tenders to the commercial and on-site teams.

Candidate Requirements

• A university degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is essential.
• Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably within a main contracting environment.
• Strong analytical abilities combined with proficient numerical and IT skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from €65,000 to €75,000.
