Job description
Overview
Label Your Data is seeking a dedicated Data Annotator to contribute to a project focused on the annotation of architectural and construction drawings. This role supports the development of an AI system designed to automate the review of architectural project documentation by identifying key structural and spatial features.
Primary Duties
- Label structural elements such as walls, windows, doors, and columns, plus furniture on building floor plans utilizing bounding box techniques.
- Apply polygon-based annotations to architectural components including walls, rooms, outdoor zones, and other space delineations.
- Adhere closely to detailed annotation protocols to ensure consistent, high-quality labeling across all assignments.
- Utilize Roboflow, an online annotation platform, to execute all labeling tasks efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
- A practical knowledge of construction drawings—plans, elevations, and sections—or a motivated willingness to acquire these skills.
- Sharp attention to detail for precision in annotations.
- Proficiency in English at a minimum B1 level to comprehend instructions and engage in basic communication.
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Current or completed academic background in architecture, civil engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience with data annotation or image segmentation assignments.
- Familiarity with annotation methods involving bounding boxes and polygons.
