Interior Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Interior Designer to become an integral part of our team, focusing on delivering premium interior design and fit-out projects for our restaurants. This is a full-time position based onsite in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural and construction drawings for fit-out projects based on conceptual design ideas.
• Develop interior design concepts including layouts, mood boards, and selections for materials and finishes.
• Prepare comprehensive 2D drawings, design presentations, and 3D visualizations for client and team review.
• Design and coordinate interior elements such as ceilings, flooring, walls, joinery, furniture, and finishes.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, MEP, and technical staff to ensure accurate implementation of design requirements.
• Ensure all drawings meet company standards and align with project scope and budget constraints.
• Communicate effectively with the project team to clarify drawing requirements and resolve technical queries.
• Visit project sites to provide design solutions and address site-specific challenges.
• Examine shop drawings, material samples, and finishes to verify compliance with approved designs.
• Integrate business and project specifications while preserving design quality and functionality.
• Support the project team through all phases of design and construction.
• Exhibit deep knowledge of materials, hardware, and technical design aspects.
• Identify potential problems proactively and communicate them to the team for resolution.
• Revise and adapt designs as necessary in response to project adjustments.
• Attend site meetings and work with contractors, consultants, and landlords to troubleshoot project issues.
• Assist the team with coordination of design alterations and changes during the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with contractors and other professionals to overcome design and execution challenges.
• Maintain thorough and organized documentation for each project.
• Manage AMS restaurant's annual maintenance contracts related to fire safety and LPG systems.
• Oversee the renewal process of QCD certificates for AMS restaurants, ensuring compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Between 2 to 5 years of practical experience in interior design and fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other 3D/design software tools.
• Strong understanding of construction details, materials, finishes, and fit-out procedures.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Creative and detail-oriented approach to design.
• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
