About the Role

The Architect plays a vital role in the architectural design, planning, and execution of various development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. This position helps to prepare detailed architectural drawings and 3D visualizations while ensuring adherence to local building regulations. The Architect works collaboratively with internal teams and external consultants to transform design concepts into practical, aesthetic, and cost-efficient built environments aligned with applicable standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and development of architectural concepts and designs across diverse project types.
  • Create precise drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials utilizing industry-leading software tools.
  • Assist with space planning, façade design, and selection of materials to fulfill project goals.
  • Collaborate with senior architects and coordinate cross-disciplinary design contributions.
  • Produce comprehensive construction documents, schematic layouts, and tender packages for project execution.
  • Review consultant submissions to verify that shop drawings meet design intent and specifications.
  • Work closely with engineers and external specialists to integrate architectural elements within structural and MEP frameworks.
  • Guarantee that all architectural designs conform to local codes, zoning laws, and sustainability criteria.
  • Prepare and submit drawings for necessary governmental approvals.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, on-site teams, and departments to resolve design-related queries promptly.
  • Engage in design research to incorporate cutting-edge trends, innovations, and materials into proposals.
  • Benchmark designs against international best practices and contribute to the formulation of design guidelines for future projects.
  • Participate in design discussions and critiques aimed at refining project outcomes.
  • Conduct site visits to review implementation quality and ensure architectural standards are upheld.
  • Coordinate on-site design modifications in close partnership with construction and design teams.
  • Support post-construction reviews and document lessons learned to improve subsequent designs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • Professional certifications such as LEED, PMP, or relevant local licenses are a plus.
  • Have 1 to 3 years of practical experience in architectural design, detailing, and preparing construction documentation.
  • Experience working on real estate or large-scale development projects is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

  • Well-versed in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, architectural design principles, and detailing for construction.
  • Creative mindset with an emphasis on aesthetics and functional design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Capacity to handle multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and coordination skills within multidisciplinary groups.
