About the Role
Legnano Teknoelectric Company Middle East, a global leader in manufacturing high-performance cores and laminations for transformers and reactors, seeks a proficient Integration Engineer for its Dubai office. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining system integrations to connect ERP, PLM, MES, and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and enhance integrations using Boomi or similar middleware tools.
- Develop and support APIs and data pipelines that link on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and refine integration needs.
- Implement, test, and deploy integration solutions adhering to industry best practices.
- Continuously monitor integration workflows, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production problems.
- Participate in custom backend or service software development when required.
- Safeguard data integrity, security, and optimize integration performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including integration designs, workflows, and technical specifications.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a related integration engineering role.
- Practical experience with Boomi or comparable integration platform technologies.
- Sound knowledge of integration patterns including REST, SOAP, API development, ETL, and messaging systems.
- Proficient in software programming with languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, API protocols, and web service concepts.
- Basic understanding of databases, especially SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities for integration-related issues.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud environments like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Integration expertise with Siemens Teamcenter (PLM) or MES in manufacturing environments.
- Insight into manufacturing or supply chain processes.
- Participation in system migration or transformation projects is advantageous.

Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
