Job description
Role Overview
We seek a seasoned Integration Engineer with deep expertise in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) to design and implement scalable, secure enterprise integration solutions. This position requires strong skills in middleware, API management, and IBM MQ technologies to support and maintain business-critical integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, refine, and optimize integration flows utilizing IBM ACE and IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
- Integrate diverse applications, databases, and services using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML formats, and IBM MQ messaging infrastructure.
- Translate complex business needs into robust and reusable technical integration components aligned with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders during the full software development lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough unit and integration testing, identify and troubleshoot defects, and contribute to quality assurance processes.
- Manage deployment activities across development, QA, and production environments while monitoring performance and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation adhering to organizational and security policies and promote coding best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of practical experience in enterprise-level integration projects.
- Strong proficiency with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus, and WebSphere Message Broker.
- Hands-on experience handling asynchronous messaging, ESQL programming, and basic shell scripting.
- Expertise with RESTful and SOAP APIs, microservices, data formats such as XML, JSON, DFDL, CSV, MRM, ISO8583, and XMLNSC.
- Familiarity with data mapping, schema design, and validation techniques.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools including Jenkins, Git, and general DevOps practices.
- Testing tooling knowledge, including SOAPUI and Postman.
- Basic understanding of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL databases, AIX/Linux operating systems, and IBM API Connect along with frontend techs.
