Job Overview
The Workforce Software Integration Engineer role requires expertise in Workforce applications and PT-103 certification. The position involves integrating and developing interfaces for HCM applications, supporting customers through the entire integration lifecycle, and maintaining software product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in JavaScript development.
- Work with SQL to create and execute basic queries.
- Utilize SOAP and RESTful Web Services for integration implementations.
- Possess or develop knowledge in Single Sign-On (SSO) Federation techniques, considered advantageous.
- Leverage HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance domain expertise where applicable.
- Collect technical requirements and implement packaged application software accordingly.
- Build and maintain APIs to enable customer connections to HCM systems.
- Provide customer support throughout integration process and design of architectural elements.
- Conduct unit and system testing for configured applications.
- Respond professionally and promptly to customer needs and challenges.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand and resolve issues.
- Stay updated on technical specifications of relevant software products.
- Update existing interfaces to enhance performance or meet evolving requirements.
- Adhere to structured programming practices including code documentation, version control, testing, and quality assurance.
