About the Team
Enterprise Business Services (EBS) is focused on creating a compact, resilient organization integrating service operations and technology solutions supporting Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience verticals at Walmart. The team supports diverse Walmart businesses using ServiceNow for HR case management, associate relations, People system integrations, and related product engineering functions. Role Responsibilities
- Lead technical guidance across multiple teams, establishing quality standards and making architectural and design decisions.
- Conduct architecture and design reviews as well as code reviews across teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Business stakeholders to align priorities and deliver high-quality products.
- Drive the design, development, implementation, and documentation of software solutions.
- Build, test, and deploy scalable, innovative solutions that affect Walmart associates globally.
- Engage with intercontinental Walmart engineering teams to share expertise and contribute to the technology community.
- Ensure successful implementation by applying technical capabilities to enhance processes and technical solutions supporting strategic initiatives.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 10+ years of experience in designing and developing highly scalable applications and platforms, specifically using ServiceNow HR Service Delivery and Management.
- Strong fundamentals in computer science including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Expertise with JavaScript, XML, CSS, HTML, AngularJS, Jelly scripting, JSON, SOAP and REST web services including core principles.
- Practical hands-on experience with the ServiceNow HRSM module including creating Service Catalogs, Record Producers, portals, workflows, and orchestration.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow development components such as Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs, Roles, as well as uni- and bi-directional integrations using SOAP and REST messages/web services and Mid Servers.
- Familiarity with modern ServiceNow features such as Agent Workspace, Integration Hub, Manager’s Hub, and Advanced Work Assignment is advantageous.
- Knowledge in ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and AI/ML to enhance user experience is a plus.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and security compliance, especially related to user authentication, authorization across multiple systems including Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Proven ownership in the development and design of major product modules/features.
- Strong prototyping and hands-on development abilities.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing technology landscapes and eagerness to learn emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and usage of tools like JIRA.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as one who thrives in collaborative team environments.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in computer-related fields plus 4 years of software engineering experience, or 6 years experience without a degree.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in related disciplines plus 2 years of software engineering experience.
