About the Role

We seek a dedicated Insurance Officer responsible for managing all daily insurance-related operations. This role involves liaising with the Group and insurance brokers to guarantee comprehensive coverage for the company’s assets, business activities, and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep all company insurance policies and associated records up to date.
  • Liaise closely with the Group on insurance policies, coverage details, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide precise information necessary for renewal processes and arranging policies.
  • Communicate with insurance providers on routine insurance issues.
  • Track and follow up on documents like policies, certificates, and endorsements.
  • Monitor expiration dates of policies to ensure uninterrupted insurance coverage.
  • Manage insurance claims from notification through resolution.
  • Follow up persistently on pending claims with insurers.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Finance, HR, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to collect relevant data for insurance purposes.
  • Maintain a current insurance registry including coverage details, policy expiration, and essential information.
  • Coordinate on insurance premium payments with Finance and Treasury departments.
  • Prepare and submit routine reports regarding insurance policies, claims status, and outstanding concerns.
  • Ensure systematic filing and organization of all insurance documents.
  • Assist the Treasury Manager in controlling insurance-related risks and managing costs effectively.
  • Provide necessary insurance documentation for internal and external audit processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and overall Group insurance standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Insurance, or related discipline.
  • Two to four years of professional experience in insurance or related functions.
  • Prior exposure to manufacturing or industrial company environments is advantageous.
  • Experience interacting with insurance firms, brokers, and managing claims is expected.
