Logistics Manager - Construction Projects

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Logistics Manager to oversee all aspects of logistics for construction projects. This position involves planning and executing logistics strategies that encompass site mobilization, material handling, transportation coordination, fleet and equipment management, warehousing, controlling site access, arranging temporary facilities, and managing workforce logistics effectively.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and implement detailed logistics and mobilization plans tailored to each project.
• Supervise the delivery, storage, internal movement, and distribution of materials on-site.
• Manage transportation logistics, including fleet, heavy machinery, and lifting equipment coordination.
• Oversee warehouse operations, storage yards, and temporary installations on the construction site.
• Coordinate site access protocols along with traffic and security management.
• Arrange accommodations and transportation logistics for the workforce.
• Track expenses related to logistics and analyze KPIs and operational efficiency metrics.
• Collaborate closely with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Construction teams, Procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless logistics processes.
• Provide leadership and supervision to the logistics team throughout the project lifecycle.

Additional Details

The candidate will be required to work on-site in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Coordination with multiple departments and external stakeholders is essential for the success of logistics operations, ensuring safety, cost-efficiency, and effectiveness across projects.
