About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Instructor Pilot (Basic) to join our team at BAE Systems, located in Al Majma‘ah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves providing flight instruction on the PC-21 aircraft as part of the UK Government's contract to supply equipment, support, and training to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).
Key Responsibilities
The Instructor Pilot (Basic) will report to the Head of Flying (KFAA) and be responsible for conducting flight training missions in accordance with the Royal Saudi Air Force training syllabi designed for cadet pilots.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive military or ex-military flying instructor experience with an RAF A2 instructor qualification or a recognized equivalent for conducting Basic level instruction.
- Minimum of 1,500 total flying hours with at least 800 hours logged on fixed wing aircraft.
- At least 400 hours of instructional experience specifically at the Basic training level.
- Applicant must not be older than 51 years at the time of contracting.
- Demonstrated strong skills in developing others and excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Proven capability to effectively communicate, influence, and guide Saudi cadets both during flight and ground training sessions.
