Role Overview
As an Installer, you will be responsible for transporting, assembling, and installing a wide variety of products such as home appliances, furniture, and electronics at customer sites. Your role is essential in ensuring customers receive professional setup and a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and transport products safely to customer homes and businesses.
- Unpack, assemble, and install products according to manufacturer guidelines and company quality standards.
- Perform pre-installation inspections and conduct post-installation tests to confirm functionality.
- Provide customers with instruction on product usage, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Accurately complete documentation such as installation reports, delivery confirmations, and feedback forms.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles to ensure they remain in proper working condition.
- Comply with all safety practices and company policies during installations.
- Coordinate with dispatch and customer service teams to schedule timely installations.
- Identify and report any defects or damages detected during installation processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational certificates in relevant areas like appliance repair or electronics installation are advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in installation or assembly of products.
- Good mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of understanding and interpreting technical manuals and schematic diagrams.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical capability to lift heavy items and perform repetitive manual activities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Willingness to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
