Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Electrical Inspector for building construction projects based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves conducting comprehensive inspections of electrical installations at multiple construction phases to ensure adherence to UAE electrical regulations, international IEC standards, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed electrical inspections during different building construction phases such as rough-in, trim-out, and final completion.
• Ensure all systems including wiring, electrical panels, circuits, grounding, and protective devices comply with applicable codes and project requirements.
• Utilize appropriate testing equipment to assess electrical systems and document findings accurately.
• Identify defects, safety hazards, and code violations; report these to project teams and recommend corrective measures.
• Verify that necessary corrections are implemented and meet specified standards.
• Maintain comprehensive, well-organized inspection records and photographic documentation.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to address electrical issues promptly.
• Enforce adherence to all safety protocols and electrical safety regulations on site.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports to support project records and regulatory compliance.
• Stay informed of updates to electrical codes, building regulations, and best industry practices.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in electrical inspection related to building construction projects.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
