Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous Inspector specializing in Architectural Building Construction to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role involves comprehensive inspections of construction projects to verify conformity with architectural plans, local building codes, and quality benchmarks, ensuring project excellence and safety throughout all stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed on-site inspections at various construction phases, carefully documenting all observations and outcomes.
• Confirm adherence to approved architectural designs, UAE building regulations, and construction standards.
• Evaluate materials, construction techniques, and workmanship against established quality criteria.
• Compile thorough inspection reports and maintain organized documentation for violations and corrective actions.
• Detect and report deficiencies, safety concerns, and instances of non-compliance to project management and contractors.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction teams to promptly address and resolve site issues.
• Capture photographic evidence and maintain records of construction progress and any critical concerns.
• Enforce adherence to safety protocols and legal requirements during inspections.
• Advise on remediation measures and verify proper execution of corrective actions.
• Maintain professional and clear communication with all project stakeholders regarding inspection results and ongoing status.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in building projects, with demonstrable skills in architectural inspection roles.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and compliance verification methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy and thorough documentation.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple inspection schedules effectively.
• Preferred experience in construction project management or site supervision is advantageous.
