About the Role
Representing a globally respected information and communication technology corporation, this position invites devoted and skilled professionals to contribute as an Image Signal Processing Algorithm Engineer. The focus lies on pioneering research and development in advanced image and video processing algorithms specifically tailored for autonomous driving, machine vision, and high-end photography products.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in the exploration and refinement of cutting-edge image and video processing algorithms applicable to noise reduction, image enhancement, and digital camera signal processing.
- Conduct investigation into emerging and state-of-the-art video technologies, adopting new standards and following industry advancements.
- Optimize AI-driven video and image processing algorithms through pruning, model enhancement, and efficient deployment on chipsets.
- Research and develop video/image enhancement algorithms targeted at machine vision applications.
- Create and utilize C-model simulations for the development and verification of image/video signal processing algorithms.
- Communicate innovative ideas clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Additional contributions may include development of video algorithms for pre-processing and post-processing tasks such as video sharpening, noise reduction (temporal/spatial), and maintaining color accuracy.
- Work on core image processing algorithms specifically for Camera Signal Processing units.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- PhD holders or fresh PhD graduates in relevant fields are encouraged to apply.
- Fundamental understanding of digital signal processing principles and AI-based low-level computer vision techniques.
- Competence in at least one deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or PyTorch for projects involving deep learning.
- Proficiency with programming languages such as C or C++ and/or experience with OpenCV library.
- Knowledge or exposure to ASIC design processes and environments is considered beneficial.
