ICM Training and Communications Manager

Position Overview

Join Stryker as the ICM Training and Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of training, communications, and learner enablement strategies within the global Indirect Channel Management (ICM) function. This permanent role demands collaboration with both internal teams and external partners across various regions and time zones, ensuring engaging, scalable, and business-aligned learning and communication programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the comprehensive global training and communication strategy for ICM.
• Create and deliver diverse training formats including virtual sessions, face-to-face workshops, and self-guided learning for internal stakeholders and indirect channel partners.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for new or enhanced training programs and materials, including local adaptations.
• Maintain continuous improvement of training and communication content, ensuring quality and relevance.
• Develop clear communication plans and messaging frameworks to support global initiatives, system updates, and business changes.
• Simplify complex ICM strategies and processes into clear, engaging communications suitable for diverse audiences.
• Drive organizational narratives that clarify ICM priorities and operational expectations.
• Implement communication standards ensuring consistency across various teams, regions, and functions.
• Manage and support the ICM Learn learning management system and other platforms like Cornerstone, ICRC, ICM Connect Site, and SLMS.
• Coordinate training related to system changes and ensure timely communication to users.
• Collaborate internationally with subject matter experts and teams to tailor resources suitably.
• Facilitate global training events such as webinars, workshops, and sessions, maintaining high service standards amid competing priorities.
• Partner with branding and communication stakeholders to preserve a consistent tone and visual identity across resources.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through data and feedback, and apply improvements to increase adoption and impact.
• Lead or support strategic ICM training deployments, managing end-to-end launch activities and stakeholder readiness.
• Contribute to change communication and training support for key ICM projects and transformations.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma is essential; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Over 8 years of substantial experience in a comparable role within multinational or matrixed organizations.
• Proven skills in designing, delivering, and measuring training programs across virtual, in-person, and digital formats.
• Expertise with learning system administration and virtual training facilitation, including familiarity with instructional design tools like Articulate.
• Experience using Cornerstone learning platform is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities to convey complex ideas accessibly and engagingly.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and effective prioritization under fast-paced global conditions.
• Capability to work amid ambiguity, juggle competing demands, and foster cooperative relationships across cultures and regions.
• Preferred experience in indirect channel management, commercial enablement, compliance-focused learning, or regulated training contexts.

Travel and Compensation

• Travel is expected at approximately 60% of the time.
• Annual salary ranges are: United Kingdom £62,900 - £104,800; Ireland €76,000 - €126,000; Netherlands €75,400 - €140,100.
• Compensation may include base salary and incentive components along with access to comprehensive benefits.
