Role Responsibilities

• Create and implement integration solutions using IBM technologies such as APIConnect, AppConnect, and DataPower.
• Engage with clients to fully grasp their integration needs and goals.
• Offer expert technical advice and support throughout integration design and development phases.
• Partner with cross-department teams to ensure smooth deployment and delivery of integration projects.
• Detect and troubleshoot bugs or issues in developed integration solutions.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements and best practices related to IBM integration technologies.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience designing and building integrations with IBM stack tools including APIConnect, AppConnect, DataPower, and MQ.
• Deep familiarity with multiple data formats and transformation methodologies.
• Proficiency in ESQL, Java, and JavaScript programming languages.
• Strong English communication skills, capable of articulating ideas verbally and in writing.
• Team-oriented with effective stakeholder collaboration capabilities.
• Experience in IBM Integration products architecture, configuration, and setup best practices.
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities to diagnose root causes of problems.
• Comprehensive understanding of API design principles, standards, and common patterns.
• Skilled in developing various service types for SOAP, REST, web services, data integration, and messaging standards.
• Availability to work onsite in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or closely related field.
• At least 5 years in integration design and development, including a minimum of 2 years specifically with IBM CP4I technologies.
• Expertise with IBM API Connect, App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB), DataPower Gateway, and IBM MQ.
• Extensive knowledge of integration patterns, protocols (HTTP, MQ, JMS, File), and standards.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI (Swagger), WSDL, JSON, and XML data formats.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Key, LDAP authentication mechanisms, SSL/TLS and mutual authentication.
• Understanding of rate limiting, throttling, API policies, audit logging and monitoring, and policy development (Prehook/Posthook).
• Solid background in databases, especially Oracle (SQL/PLSQL), JDBC/ODBC connections, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Competence with transformation techniques including ESQL, Java Compute Node, GatewayScript/JavaScript, XSLT, XML, and JSON.
• Collaborative work experience using DevOps tools like Git (GitHub, GitLab), Microsoft TFS, and Azure DevOps.
• Containerization and deployment experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the broader Middle East and Africa region.
• Exposure to government sector projects.
• Knowledge of OpenShift deployment methods for IBM products.
• Arabic language proficiency for spoken and written communication.
