About the Role
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company seeks a Human Resources Executive to support its team in Doha, Qatar. This non-management full-time position involves assisting with employee relations, recruitment compliance, and management support to ensure smooth HR operations aligned with company standards and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking and resolving employee relations matters, following up to ensure effective closure.
- Support management and leadership teams with handling various Human Resources issues.
- Monitor hiring and recruitment to ensure full compliance with local, state, federal laws, and company policies.
- Inform HR leadership about employee relations concerns.
- Address inquiries and requests from employees and management regarding HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Distribute information to employees about employer-employee relations, activities, and personnel policies.
- Verify and maintain accurate employee records, including interview documentation and compliance forms (e.g., I-9's).
- Assist with arranging and managing annual employee surveys, including logistics and scheduling.
- Answer incoming phone calls and record messages professionally.
- Support hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, disciplinary actions, motivation, and coaching of employees.
- Adhere to all company, safety, and security regulations; report accidents and unsafe conditions to management promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
- Greet guests according to company standards and communicate clearly with professionalism.
- Develop and nurture positive working relationships, supporting teamwork and responding appropriately to employee concerns.
- Use computers or point of sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related data.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving or lifting objects up to 10 pounds.
- Carry out other reasonable tasks requested by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum educational attainment: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a related capacity.
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
